BUTTON TYPE-PROXIMITY SWITCHES – “SHORTY “VERSION

Protocontrol now offer shorty version of proximity switches. The sizes of switches are miniature. These switches are ideal where space is a constraint. M8 and M 12 are now available in alength of40 mm. Special button type switch is available having size 10 mmdiameterand thicknessof only 10 mm, Slot type switches with slot width of 3.5 mm arethe recent developments.

Fiber optic switches also find application where space is constraint. The fiber tip of M 3 size can be inserted in a machine part where space is constraint where amplifier can be located at distance.

Inductive Proximity Switches are generally used for position sensing of metallic parts.Speed, direction and rotation of any moving or oscillating machines can be sensed.

Capacitive proximity switches are used for level sensing of any solid, liquid or granules. Level of petrol, diesel or plastic granules can be sensed. Counting of plastic bags or pouches can be easily achieved.
