Description
Our range of Heater Treater is considered ideal to be used for removing water & gas from the produced oil. This horizontal unit is specially designed to perform Intel degassing, free water removal, heating, electrostatic coalescing of water droplets and controlled discharge of gas/oil & water. This system is in compliance with international standards & norms and is skid mounted with complete valves, instruments and accessories to ensure safe & reliable unattended operation. Our range of Heater Treater is provided with a "Y" Type fire tube that is available with a gas or oil fired Burney system & associated local control panel. Other details of the product:
- A tank is divided into separate heating & treating sections
- Heating section is in turn divided into a receiving zone and an enclosed heating chamber
- A pair of down comers conveys emulsion from the top of the receiving zone to the bottom of the heating chamber
- A portion of the emulsion flowing from the down comers is directed
- A discharge passageway to flush sediment and free water from the chamber
- The emulsion flows diagonally upwardly in the heating chamber past a pair of fire tunes
- Conveyed from the top of the chamber to the bottom of the treating section by a conduit
- Operation of the fire tubes is controlled by thermostat
- Located in the upper portion of the heating chamber adjacent the inlet of the conduit
- To enhance the coalescence of water droplets, this system is provided with an innovative coalescing section utilizing both AC and DC voltage
- The DC field between the electrode plates allows a consistent migration of water droplets
- The opposite charged electrode while maintaining an droplets near the oil / water interface
- Droplets pass between the two differently charged electrode plates collide, coalesce and then fall back into the water phase under gravity
- An externally mounted transformer with internal diodes provides a secondary output voltage of 16.5/23.0/35KV DC to the electrode plates
- The Transformer has a 100 reactance
- The event of a water slug in the crude causing a short circuit
- Kept on line until normal conditions are reinstated
