Description
We bring forth for our clients Industrial Softeners / Water Softener Plants, which are manually operated ion exchange equipment designed for industrial use. Owing to convenient operations, inexpensive maintenance and cost-effectiveness, the plants are highly demanded in the market. The plants encompass Steel /FRP pressure vessels, which contains a bed of cation exchange resin, a regenerating system and control valves. Furthermore, the plants are attractively & compactly designed and can be availed in MS, MSRL, FRP, operating in Manual / Auto modes. Herein, a strong acidic cation exchange resin in sodium form is utilized for exchanging sodium ions. The exchange of ions results in hardness and formation of calcium and magnesium ions, and thus produce soft water. The ion exchange resin is regenerated at the end of each service cycle with sodium chloride solution. However, a brine measuring tank and a separate salt saturator (preferably concrete) is provided for the larger plants for bulk storage of salt and preparation of brine. Additionally, we offer standard equipment to soften water, up to a maximum flow rate of 275 m3/h.

Specifications:
- A mild steel / FRP pressure vessels with an inlet distribution, an outlet collecting system and a brine distributor
- Mild Steel vessels painted with a protective coat of red oxide from outside whereas, internally with an anti-corrosive bituminous paint
- One set of control valves with all piping to inlet and outlet terminals
- One charge of softener cat ion exchange resin with supporting under bed
- One hardness test kit for testing the softened water
- One combined salt tank / brine measuring tank, provided with brine suction piping with adjustable indicating clamps, hydraulic ejector and control valves
- One orifice board to indicate wash and rinse flow rates (fitted in the drains sump.)
