Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable

Asset Account A/R (Accounts Receivable) and A/P (Accounts Payable) are record of sales for which payment is not made immediately, or for bills that will not be paid until later. These accounts are generally used when there are lot of bills and receipts flowing in and out and there are chances of losing records.
