Description
For the detection and determination of flammable gas concentrations, a Catalytic bead sensor (pellistor) can be considered as the detector of choice. It is a micro-calorimetric device where the amount of heat generated when a combustible gas is oxidized on a alumina bead is measured and is related to the combustible gas concentration.
