RIDANO (Danazol Capsules 50 / 100 /200 mg)

RIDANO (Danazol capsules) contains the generic medicine Danazol which is used in the treatment of Endometriosis, Fibrocystic Breast Disease and hereditary angioedema. Danazol is a synthetic steroid derived from ethisterone and a pituitary gonadotropins inhibitor. Danazol capsules are available in 50 /100 /200 mg doses.

RIDANO (Danazol capsules) suppresses the pituitary-ovarian axis and inhibits the output of gonadotropins from the pituitary gland. Endometrial lesions are completely cured in most cases. RIDANO (Danazol capsules)reduces the nodularity, pain, and tenderness. Some of the side effects that may or may not happen with RIDANO are Burning, Itching, Bleeding, Nervousness, Depression and Irritability. It is contraindicated in patients withimpaired hepatic, renal, or cardiac function, Pregnancy and Breast feeding.

Recommended dose:

The recommended dose varies according to the nature of the disease as mentioned below:

Endometriosis: 100 -200 mg of RIDANO orally two times a day.

Fibrocystic breast disease: 50 -200 mg of RIDANO orally two times a day.

Angioedema: 200 mg of RIDANO orally two to three times a day.
